Christmas is just around the corner, and that means more and more Christmas food topics are coming into our conversations and the comfort of home cooking. Although many of us, who are committed to traditions, are happy to return to our native places to enjoy our grandmother's dumplings at the common table, Poles are increasingly striving for ready-made festive food. What do you need to know about this offer?
Are you committed to tradition or willing to take advantage of the novelty? What are Polish consumers looking forward to the holidays?
Nowadays, the Polish consumer is more and more open to discovering new tastes, but in the face of holidays, they definitely rely on classic dishes that correspond to our tradition.
What is the attitude of Poles to festive food and how does it change over the years?
Poles are increasingly turning to the holiday food option. I think the main reason here is the momentum of life and lack of time. We are all looking forward to the holidays and hope to spend time at the table with our family, accompanied by our favorite Christmas dishes. Often, unfortunately, we find that the daily chores just don't have enough time to just stand in the kitchen and cook. At the same time, cooking at the last minute is often associated with a huge amount of stress that is not present in our daily lives. Then holiday food comes to the rescue. Years show that this service is gaining popularity and finding more and more followers. We, as NTFY, are guided by simple rules here-we want to give our customers delicious, traditional Christmas dishes, Homemade, like mom's.
What, of course, can not be lacking in your holiday catering?
When preparing a holiday meal offer, we always ask our customers ' opinion first. It is their preferences and needs that shape its final appearance. The answers collected this year once again show that Polish classics are most recognized, but also dishes that are simply characterized by great labor intensity – we are talking about dumplings or ears. At the same time, we do not forget about the traditional Polish borscht in two versions (depending on your preferences – red or mushroom). In addition, there is always an option suitable for vegans, as well as classic Polish pastries; this year it's cheesecake and crumbly croissants with poppy seeds.
When do the first requests for the Christmas menu appear?
Since the beginning of December, everything is moving towards the holidays. Christmas decorations appear, it's getting cooler outside, and it's snowing. We are preparing for such an offer starting in mid-November, so that we can be fully prepared by December!
When should I start thinking about ordering a catering service? Is there a chance to order something at the last minute?
Knowing that this year's dishes on the festive table will take care of us, we should plan such delivery in advance. The last minute is unlikely to pass here, given the degree of complexity of preparing dishes, the ingredients for their preparation and preparation, as well as the delivery time. For NTFY, the last time to place an order for the Christmas offer is Thursday, December 21, before 15: 00. 🙂
Who is the typical recipient of a holiday offer in your catering business? Is it an individual client or, rather, ordering catering for a corporate event?
The New Year's offer is unique in this respect. I have to admit that both individual customers and NTFY employees order food to their homes on Christmas Eve. On the contrary, we also see an increase in sales of this offer during corporate events or festive meetings at work.
How much holiday food do your customers order? Do they wrap up the entire Christmas Eve supper, or are they ready to tempt themselves into a few individual items?
And here opinions are divided. As I mentioned earlier, the most successful are abalone or dumplings, which require both the longest cooking time and certain manual skills. There are also those who rely, for example, only on desserts (because this year it is the pastries that the person got for cooking, and the rest is done by the mother or mother-in-law). Our offer gives you complete freedom as to what the customer wants and needs to order, and in what quantity. As usual and according to our idea-it is he who decides.
What do you want for Christmas this year?
We are a team of young and creative people, and there is never a lack of zeal for action. It always motivates you to complete tasks and set new goals. I think that at Christmas this year it is right to wish the entire NTFY team unflagging strength for further development, and our customers delicious lunches, a wonderful time with their family and a moment to appreciate what we have! 🙂
