Batida is a well-known confectionery company that has gained recognition in the capital due to the high quality of its products and an innovative approach to business. Her success is the fruit of the determination of three generations of determined women: Jadwiga, Iolanta and Karolina Radziszewski. For three decades, they have run a business that has become a true culinary treasure, offering a wide selection of French and Belgian dishes in the heart of"Northern Paris".
The company recently took another step by expanding its offerings with new payment services in partnership with Klarna. This allows Batida customers to pay for their purchases in installments or in a month, providing a convenient option, especially for those who want to enjoy delicious pastries without paying the entire amount at once. And, as we know, we don't invest in holiday pastries every day. With this new payment feature, it is now even easier for customers to enjoy the excellent tastes offered by Batida without worrying about immediately burdening their budget. This is another step in the company's development, which confirms its flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changing needs and expectations of customers.
Where did the idea for this payment method come from? We asked Alexandra Tulskaya, PR & Marketing Manager.
Food and Design: You are known for your unconventional approach to sweets. Your desserts are small works of art that indulge the tastes of Warsaw residents. You keep up with the times, despite the fact that you are a family business with a long tradition. Where did the idea come from to introduce Klarna as a deferred payment option for orders for Easter? Many people liked purchases that they can pay for a month or distribute them in installments of 0%. However, most often we are faced with buying clothes, jewelry or accessories for the home in this way.
Alexandra Tulskaya: The decision to introduce Klarna as a deferred payment option was driven by our commitment to adapt to the current needs of our customers. These days, the flexibility of shopping is not only appreciated, but also becomes the standard, especially when we are preparing for certain periods, such as Easter. We understand that our products are often a random purchase, and the ability to pay at a convenient time allows customers to enjoy our products without stress. Offering such a modern and convenient payment solution as Klarna also highlights our innovation as a company that, despite its long tradition, is aware of new trends in the field of e-commerce.
FaD: Since when can your customers use payments using Klarna? And is this solution very popular?
AT: Our collaboration with Klarna, which began in early March, has received an extremely positive response from our customers. We were surprised by the number of people who chose this convenience, and it shows how important freedom of choice is when paying. The fact that Klarna payment is available here is not only an additional comfort for our customers, but also a conscious action to create a positive image of Batida-a company that listens and meets the needs of the market.
FaD: In our opinion, this is a huge step towards the customer, especially during the holiday season. Recently, you have also discovered new outlets that delight not only with products, but also with interior design. You are betting on a combination of elegance and minimalism. Does design play a big role in your strategy?
AT: The interior design of our cafes and pastry shops is an important element that is in harmony with Batida's offer. The continuity and management of Karolina Radzishevskaya has led to an update of our approach not only to the product offering, but also to the presentation of our retail outlets. Modern, minimalistic and designer interiors bathed in natural materials and earthy tones become Batida's signature, creating a unique experience for our guests. We want visitors to our cafes and pastry shops to feel that every cup of coffee and every dessert is served in a thoughtful, aesthetic space that reflects our love of detail and quality.

FaD: Can you tell us if you will surprise us with anything else this year?
AT: Without a doubt, this year Batida has more surprises in store. In addition to continuing our expansion, I am very pleased to announce that our presence will be enhanced by a new location at Lixa City Gardens in Vola, which will represent Batida's vision for the future. A modern Summer Garden and alternative methods of making coffee are just some of the elements that we will offer there. We draw inspiration for this place from our latest boutique in Lomyanki, which ensures the consistency and growth of our brand. We are also working on several other locations and believe that we will soon be able to share exciting new news about our expansion.
