Warsaw has a new tasty reason to be proud of! On International Chocolate Day (September 4), the Chocolate Factory Museum will be opened - a place that will take us on a journey to a world full of sweets and history! It is located at ul. Zamoyskiego 28/30 in Warsaw's Praga Południe district, right next to the legendary E. Wedel Factory.

So let's start with the facade itself - it resembles giant chocolate cubes, symbolizing Wedel's long-standing tradition. The building, where cocoa was once stored and processed, has been revitalized with attention to every detail. Materials and gray bricks arranged in decorative motifs are a reference to the original factory and Kamionek in Warsaw.

Let's imagine the smell of freshly roasted cocoa beans... oh no, we don't have to - even before entering the building, the sweet smell of chocolate fills the air! When we cross the threshold of the Chocolate Factory Museum, we immediately enter a land where every sense plays a huge role.

The tour begins with learning about the chocolate production process, then you can see with your own eyes how Wedel Cakes are decorated. In the museum, we can see old machines and archival advertising materials, including old chocolate packaging.

An interactive exhibition presenting the history of chocolate inspired by the Wedel family is not all that the museum offers. Finally, we will also take a trip to the observation deck located on the top of the six-story building, from where there is a view of the panorama of Warsaw and the charming Skaryszewski Park.
