The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) invites you to a free cooking lesson inspired by the TV series”the bear". The campaign is designed to introduce the audience to the atmosphere of the upcoming season!
The day before the premiere of the new season, on June 26, at 18:30, a cooking workshop will be held under the guidance of chef Leif Evans. The series ' main characters Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri also attended a cooking class in Los Angeles in preparation for their series roles.
About workshops
Since "the bear" is a popular show about the restaurant industry, we wanted to encourage people to follow Carmi and his team's adventures next season. We want to teach fans of the show culinary techniques, enriching classes with recipes of the show. – comments Leif Evans, professor of culinary arts at the ICE campus in New York.
This isn't the first time ICE has hosted cooking classes inspired by the show, but it's the first time it's offered them to such a broad audience. What will we learn?
The purpose of the lesson is to encourage fans to follow the new season, as well as teach them a few cooking techniques presented in the production. Evans plans to introduce participants to the intricacies of the food service industry, showing them how to handle a knife, how to make the perfect omelette, and how to grill. Classes will be held online and will be accessible to all interested parties.

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn how to make the iconic Italian beef sandwich known from season one, and the French omelette that Sydney makes in a key episode of season two.
The omelette's inclusion in the training program was intended not only to pay homage to the show, but also to highlight the importance of this dish in the culinary world. In the restaurant business, making a French omelette is a classic test of a chef's skills when trying to work in a new restaurant.
