Krakow Zabolotye, because it is about it that we are talking, took 11. positions in the rating, for its unique history and atmosphere.
The post-industrial part of Krakow, located in on the right bank of the Vistula River, since 1991, it has been a part of XIII foothills. Its greatest development occurred at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, when industrial and railway plants were built hereas well as in the post-war period, which brought further industrialization. After 1989, when the factories closed, the area fell into disrepair, but in the early twenty-first century it recovered again. Currently, turbidity is one of the the most creative and dynamic places in Krakow, full of shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and cultural spaces.
"South of Krakow's original hipster district, Kazimierz, Zablotje is not an unknown place-exhibits Oskar Schindler Factory they have long been one of the city's must-see attractions. However, the addition of the strikingly brutalist Museum of Modern Art (MOCAK) to the same location in 2011 seems to have pioneered something new over the past decade. New steel-built blocks now grow between the peeling plaster of military warehouses. Coastal parks have been restored. Cafes with roasted coffee, places for self-pouring craft beer and ramen kitchens with robot waiters were opened. The abundance of apartment buildings makes mud both habitable and full of life: It's a well-blended cocktail of culture, history, gastronomy and local life. The heart of Zabolotya is Linden Street, but you should also visit Tadeusz Romanovich Street and green coastal boulevards.” – writes Joseph Francis, a local writer who reviewed the area for Time Out.
The success of the Polish quarter motivated the creation of a mini-guide to the hottest food destinations in Zabloc. Foodies should not miss these places!
